Vesevo is named after the famed volcano Mt. Vesuvio, in whose shadow sit the vineyards. Vesevo has a close and well developed association with the best growers in the area comprising approximately 60 hectares of carefully selected and tended vineyards. The vineyards enjoy the rich volcanic soils which impart mineral nuances to the wines. This wine is ruby red in colour, with a complex and intense nose of red cherries, raspberries and cranberries, which continue through onto the palate. The wine has firm yet smooth tannins with a lingering spicy finish and hints of vanilla.
