The aromatic maze of the nose is bound together with incredible energy and tension, linking blackcurrant, ripe damson, and cherry compote with dried rosemary, fresh charcoal and roasted black peppercorns. All throughout there is an inky line of balsamic vinegar and olive tapenade, sprinkled with cloves and nutmeg. On the palate. it is wonderfully refined and supple, with silken tannins providing a balanced framework. There is already a grace that matches the concentration and power, rendering it already remarkably approachable. This wine is truly iconic and will be ready to drink from 2021 until the middle of the century.
